RTRO is a female founded social media platform that refocuses social media on the two things we care about: our community connections and real content.  RTRO’s founder started the platform when her 16 niece was diagnosed with serious mental health issues stemming from social media use. She is a seasoned marketing executive and decided it was time to re-look at social media and create an alternative - on that creates a positive space for people, creators and brands.

<aside> 🚨 PROBLEM What we are looking to solve is social media’s negative impact on mental health - social media itself is not bad - we need and enjoy it, but what we learned from polling Gen Z is that they prefer not to have brand ads in their feed, are getting tired of the algorithms and negativity.

RTRO will deliver a new social network based on what we love - chat/texting. We have private chat circles where you can manage your communities, integrated AI/chatGPT to enhance the experience and RTROTV - where you can channel surf content from brands and creators with no algorithms.
